Collections Specialist

Since 2014, Fund That Flip has challenged the status quo of slow, unreliable capital and gate-keeping into investment deals. We’ve grown into an end-to-end financial technology platform that helps entrepreneurs and investors generate wealth and make an impact in their own communities across the country.

We are doubling down on our commitment to book performance. For our Collections Specialists, that means contacting borrowers with past due loan maturities and interest payments, working with the borrower to bring their accounts current.

What You’ll Do

As members of the Servicing team, the Collections Specialists act as the borrower’s point of contact for B2B collections of past-due monthly interest payments and processing extensions for loans past maturity.

Your ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a professional conversation will enable you to provide solutions to borrowers with past due accounts. You handle difficult situations and conversations with tenacity and resilience.

Tasks During a Typical Day

Each day includes an open forum meeting, where the Servicing team gathers and shares questions and barriers that have come up in their work. Peers collaborate on solutions and share precedent or past experience to guide the next steps.

You’ll be assigned to a group of cross-functional colleagues, including those from sales, servicing, & underwriting, and you’ll work on the past-due deals associated with those regions. You’ll meet frequently with that group to discuss correspondence with the borrowers.

You’ll make a massive impact on the success of our business through improving overall book performance and principal recovery.
